For ROSAT HRI data, this task allows computation of the count rate from a specified source region. The result is corrected for the point response function (using the accurate, off-axis PRF), vignetting and quantum efficiency effects. Note that the size of a region cannot be specified in celestial coordinates (e.g., arcminutes) for this task (1 pixel = 0.5 for the ROSAT HRI).
