Accesses the parameter file parameter file for the specified task in an editor. Move the cursor to the item to be changed, type changes, and hit a carraige return. When finished, exit with <ctrl> x (emacs) or <ctrl> d (vi). Type ``<esc>-?'' within a parameter editor for more details on commands.
Table files (*.tab) consist of a header including a variety of parameters and the table itself. It is possible to edit the header using tupar and the table with tedit provided you have write-access to the file. A look at the help file is highly recommended for tupar.
Allows editing of .tab tables. Works like emacs but uses <ctrl> D to exit.
Parameters may also be set, for the current command-line execution only, by indicating the parameters' temporary value on the command line:
imhead xdata$rp110590_img longhead=yes
This will not change the value stored in the parameter file.
Boolean parameters may be set with shorthand notation.
imhead xdata$rp110590.img longhead+ imhead xdata$rp110590.img longhead-
